INTERNATIONAL B-BOY CHAMPIONS
The Lor Brothers represents one of California’s best breaking crew, Underground Flow. Longka (Michael) Lor also known as B-boy M-Pact and Longkue (Steven) Lor also known as B-boy VillN has competed in numerous Breaking competitions in the United States and in other countries. Some of their biggest victories are placing first at “Temple of Styles 2006 and 2011”, an international Bboy/Bgirl competition held in Paris, France. In 2009, they also won the Hip Hop International World Bboy/Bgirl Championship. Some of their other credits includes performing at the DVD release party for Step Up 2, All that Skate with Michelle Kwon and Kim Yu-Na, being featured in the MIMS’ music video, “Like This” and Chris Brown’s Music Videos, “Turn Up The Music” and “Fine China”.
Despite their love for bboying, they also has expanded their knowledge in other dance styles such as jazz, lyrical, modern, commercial hip hop, locking, tap, house, and popping. They both had danced with talented teams such as Master Peace Dance Theatre, PAC Modern, Culture Shock Los Angeles, Kallusive Dance Team, Beach Street, the Los Angeles Clippers Fast Break Crew, Versa-Style Dance Company, Outer Circle, and KINJAZ.
Their passion for dance goes even beyond just dancing and performing. Their community minded teaching abilities and love for sharing the knowledge of dance with the new generation has allow them both to teach for numerous dance workshops and programs such as H4, Kid Dance Day, I Love Hip Hop Jayvee Dance Center Workshop, the D.A.R.E Dance Program, UCI Grooveology 2009, D.E.A. Youth Dance Program, and many more.
They both attended California State University of Long Beach with Michael receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and Steven receiving his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, option in Exercise Science. They hope to continue to inspire others through their passion by sharing what they have learned as artists and by reaching out to the community.
